Richmond Elevator Co., Inc. has proudly served the Metropolitan Area since 1990. Through dedication and determination, we have established an excellent reputation for helping our clients meet their accessibility and operational responsibilities. Our portfolio showcases our ability to meet the unique needs of a wide range of facilities, from healthcare and educational institutions to residential and government properties.

Our Projects Include:

Hospital for Special Surgery – 510 E 71st Street, NYC: 56 devices across 6 locations. 27 operating rooms and over 100 Orthopedic operations per day. All elevator services must be planned and prescribed so there is no interference with the function of this world-renowned facility.

Trinitas Hospital – Servicing 32 elevators. Richmond Elevator is proud to partner with Trinitas Reginal Medical Center and Robert Wood Johnson Barnabas Health Care in providing state of the art elevator systems that are reliable, security monitored, featured with emergency power operation and in compliance with the local AHJ.

Richmond University Medical Center – Servicing 23 elevators utilizing ACPM technology which cut power consumption, and costs in half, and helped launch a new Level 1 Trauma Center.

Wall Street Plaza – 88 Pine Street, NYC: 13 Elevators - a Class A office building with newly converted elevators and escalators. Response/waiting time is under 10 seconds as provided by 2 banks of elevators running at a velocity of 1000 and 800 Feet Per Minute with a 3500 LB. capacity.

NYC Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) – 50 elevators in water and sewage treatment plants. The DEP personnel rely on their 64 elevators to treat the water you drink and the waste that needs to be safely disposed of.

Triborough Bridge and Tunnel Authority (TBTA) – 35 elevators critical to maintaining bridge and tunnel operations. The Verrazano Bridge, Throgs Neck Bridge, Brooklyn Battery, and Queens Midtown Tunnel rely on their elevator systems to maintain these crucial transportation arteries. Can you imagine scaling 700 feet on a vertical ladder to reach the elevator motor room if the elevator was out of service in one of the towers on the VZ Bridge?

Metropolitan Correctional Center – The highest security federal prison in NYC. Modernized and engineered remote control elevator systems utilizing industrial strength touch screen operation.

Colleges – College of Staten Island, Lehman College, Wagner College, Touro College: A total of 75 elevators provide accessibility for students and faculty.

Residential Properties – Managing 400–500 elevators across condominiums, co-ops, and apartment buildings throughout the metropolitan area.
